Hanna entered the world on November 25, 1964 to Mary Good Weasel-Leading Fighter and Arthur Louis Marshall, Jr. She went to school at St. Francis Indian School and and then on to United Tribes Technical College in 1983. A year later she had her first daughter and started her life's journey with the love of her life, Peter James Three Legs. They were married on December 7, 1985 at the LDS church in Ft. Yates, ND.

She loved singing with the family Lakeside Singers and traveling to many powwows. She was a fluent Lakota speaker, danced from time to time and made her children's regalias. She cooked big meals and enjoyed joking and visiting with friends and relatives near and far. She was a strong woman with a big heart. She earned the title "Potato Dance Champs" from winning several potato dance specials. One of the unique specials she won was the Wicaglata contest in Little Eagle, SD. Singing was her favorite and she would drum hop to her favorite songs with her sisters, daughters, granddaughters and powwow Wicaglata friends. She met many friends while working at Prairie Knights Casino and being the Porcupine summer lunch cook. Yvonne will be remembered along the powwow circuit for the joy she sang into so many hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Peter James Three Legs; daughters, Henrietta Three Legs, Samantha Three Legs; son, Clay Buster White Buffalo; granddaughters, Katarina Hana Leighta Three Legs, Kaezly Ann Three Legs; grandson, K Riley Plenty Chief Jr; hunka sons, Lyndell Pleets and K.
