Obituary

Funeral services for Williamette "Lucie" TwoBear, 61 of Bismarck, ND will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Red Gym in Cannonball, ND. The family will follow from Kesling Funeral Home on Friday, May 23, 2025, to Cannonball Red Gym at 3:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Williamette died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Arrangements are entrusted to Kesling Funeral Home.

Williamette "Lucie" TwoBear was born May 20, 1963. She grew up in Cannonball, ND and spent a lot of time with her aunt Victoria Joshua. She attended school in Cannonball and Solen. She also went to boarding school at Wahpeton Indian School. Lucie welcomed her Son Gerald James Hollow on May 8th, 1982. At 19 years old, she was in a car accident that left her paralyzed. After her hospitalization in Grand Forks, Lucie went on to live at Dakota Center for Independent Living where she received her GED and learned to live on her own and moved to Fort Yates, before settling in Bismarck, ND.

Lucie was a mother figure to many, she enjoyed playing board games like scrabble and fixing puzzles. She enjoyed watching Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer and other evangelist pastors on Sunday's. She enjoyed listening to KLND where her nephew, the late Nate Iron Road, was the DJ that played all her favorite songs. During that time she met her long time special friend, Reno White Dress, who remained with her until the end. She fulfilled her life living with her boys Clint "CJ" Fool Bear(Nephew/Son), Cole Hanley (Nephew) and her Grandson Breighton Claymore. Lucie was a friend to many, loved her family and all her nieces, nephews and grandchildren very much. Lucies home was a place where family would come to have coffee, meals and visit.

Lucie is proceeded in death by her son Gerald James Hollow, her father William George Two Bears Sr., her mother Matilda (Conica) Two Bears, Brothers Myron Lavoy Two Bears, William George Two Bears Jr, Matthew M. Two Bears, Her sisters, Deidre Two Bears, Raquel Two Bears, Estelle Two Bears, Lorna Two Bears and her half sister Alicia Noisy Hawk.
