Funeral services for Virginia Has Horns, 65, of Little Eagle will be at noon, Friday, July 30, 2021, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Virginia passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Virginia Marie Leaf was born on August 30, 1955, to Teresa Tiona- One Feather and Kenneth Leaf and was raised by her grandmother, Lucy Looking Back. She lived her whole life in Little Eagle. She graduated in high school from McLaughlin and attended UTTC in Bismarck. Virginia was most known from her career involvement in the CHR program for 19 years. While working there she made many friends. She loved collecting frogs. She liked what the acronym meant "Fully Rely On God." She also enjoyed traveling, going to pow wows, attending church, and singing hymns. She enjoyed the word of God.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Russell Has Horns, her children, Chavez Spotted Horse, Charise Matul and Kristen Wisbey, her special grandsons, Christopher Spotted Horse, Sage Hansen, Thomas Spotted Horse, brother, Russell Leaf and family, Robert Leaf, sisters, Lavonne Leaf and family, Rita Laundreaux and family.

She is proceeded in death by mother, Teresa Tiona, father, Kenneth Leaf, uncle, Clifford One Feather Sr., grandmother, Lucy Looking Back, Daughter, Cary Spotted Horse, brother, Kenny Leaf, grandmother, Josephine Hollow, grandfather, Mike Hollow, and her good friends, Bernadine Broken Leg and Julie Weasel and cousin, Clara Spotted Horse.
