Funeral services for Vincent James Village Center (Piggy), age 41, of Mobridge will be at 11:30 AM CT, Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Burial will be in the Messiah Church Cemetery in Little Oak Creek in Little Eagle under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all night wake will start at 6 PM with services at 7 PM on Sunday at the Blue Gym. Vincent passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his home in Mobridge.

Vincent James Village Center was born on July 29, 1969 to the late Matilda Long Feather and the late Floyd Village Center in Fort Yates ND. He grew up in Little Eagle, SD attended elementary school in Little Eagle Day School and graduated from 8th grade and attended McLaughlin High School and graduated CLASS OF 1989. After graduation he attended United Tribes Technical College. Vincent was jack of all trades he had various jobs, but his passion and most beloved work was firefighting-Standing Rock-BIA Fire Fighters.

In his life he shared with Lona Kay Medicine Crow and together two children were born to them a son Jordan Scott Village Center and a daughter Nichole Marie Village Center. His only two children were his pride and joy, they meant the world to him and loved them unconditionally.

Vincent is survived by his children-son Jordan Scott Village Center and daughter Nichole Marie Village Center.
