Funeral services for Tyler LeCompte age 23 of Mobridge will be at 10 AM, MT, Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Old Agency Building in Eagle Butte. Burial will be at the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM CT, Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the 4-mile junction at 6:30 PM MT and all night wake services will be 7 PM MT at the Old Agency Building. Tyler passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home in Mobridge, SD.
Tyler Jamyz Le Compte was born on March 1, 1994 to Carolyn Le Compte. Tyler joined his mom and his grandma Barbara Le Compte. His mom, Carolyn meant the world to her mom but when Tyler joined the pair; Carolyn happily shared her baby boy. For years the trio was always together spending time in Aberdeen and Eagle Butte, SD. Tyler's step father Vetal Frazier, Sr. joined the trio when he married Tyler's mom. The family was then blessed by Tyler's fun loving little brothers, Vetal, Jr., Jonathan and Brandon. The boys affectionately referred to themselves as the "4 Brothers". The family remained in Eagle Butte, SD until the passing of Grandma Barb. The family minus one moved to Mobridge, SD.
Through the years Tyler attended school briefly in Oklahoma, then attended the Cheyenne Eagle Butte School and the Mobridge-Pollock High School.
Tyler, 23 was loved for being who he was; a well-mannered, quiet, fun loving young man, he struggled through his teenage years, but never lost his values and beliefs of being the loving, respectful and helpful young man to all his family and friends he knew. Many memories will be always be shared and treasured by his mom and dad along with his three little brothers and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Tyler developed the art of tattooing along with beading and making dream catchers and earrings, Tyler enjoyed sharing his skills with many, so many treasures for family and friends to kept for a lifetime.
Tyler is survived by his parents Vetal and Carolyn Frazier, three brothers Vetal, Jr. Jonathan and Brandon. Also surviving is his Grandfather Willard Malebear Sr., Great-grandfather Ivan Le Compte, Uncle Will Malebear, Jr., Great-uncle Chuck (Sharon) Le Compte, Great-aunts Susie (Jim) Shihady, Woody (Steve) Klein, Beth (Jake) Johnson, Dixie Le Compte, and Christy Thundershield. His cousins, Chante Thundershield, Ramona Le Compte and girls, Ray (Brandi) Le Compte and family, Stephen (Sheryll) Le Compte and family, Raquel and D'Lani and families, Brad (CJ) Le Compte and family, Colt Le Compte and son, Casper Le Compte and girls, Clint (Kelsey) Le Compte and Brianna, Chelsey Le Compte and son, Calee Le Compte, KC (Steph) Cheauma and family, Joe (Jessi) Le Compte-Klein and family, Gregory Klein, Jillian Klein, Jessica (Cederick, Jr.) Ortega-Wilkinson and family, Angel and Christian Le Compte, Zeth Johnson, LaCee Johnson and son. Also surviving is his bro's, Jovan Primeaux, Skylar Wicker, Jeremy Leaf, Hunter Beck, and his sis Wyndee Sitting Dog.
Preceding Tyler in death is his loving grandmother Barbara Le Compte, Great Grandmother Adele (Garreau) Le Compte, Great Aunt Eloise (Gig) Le Compte, Great Uncles Marvin and Hank Le Compte, cousins Rick Le Compte and Tatum Le Compte
Tyler will be laid to rest at the Timber Lake Cemetery beside his grandma Barb.
