Funeral services for Tristin Ambrose-Scott Antelope, 21, of Ft. Yates, ND, will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016, with a rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Ft. Yates. Services are under the direction of the Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Burial to take place at a later date. Tristin passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Sanford Medical Center of Bismarck, ND.
Tristin was born on August 25, 1994, in Bismarck, ND, to Moses Jamison Sr. and Marian Antelope. He attended school at the Standing Rock Grant School. During his time at the school Tristin enjoyed playing in the band as well as participating in the chess club. He did maintenance work for the Summer Youth Program while he strived to obtain his G.E.D.
Tristin was the life of the home. He was outgoing, funny, and always liked to joke and tease. He had many friends of all kinds and got along with everyone. He was also a very caring father and uncle who regularly helped take care of the younger members of the family.
He is survived by his mother, Marian Antelope; his brothers, Chris Grooms and Moses Jamison Jr.; his sister, Autumn Gardener, God parents Emmett White Temple Sr. and Cheryl Shooter, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Moses Jamison Sr.; his grandfather, Ambrose Antelope; his grandmother, Seraphine Agard; his cousin, Juan White Eagle; and his best friend, Devin Dwarf.
