Obituary
Todd Alan Berndt, 52, of Herreid, South Dakota died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his home of natural causes.
His remains will be forwarded to his family in Illinois for a memorial service under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge.
Todd was born September 6, 1961 in Herreid to Alan and Karen Berndt. He was the eldest of 4 children.
He attended school in Herreid until he moved to Barrington, Il with his parents and siblings. He graduated from Barrington High School. He had various jobs throughout his life until he was diagnosed with diabetes.
He has lived in Herreid since 1984.
Todd is survived by his mother, Karen of Cary, Il; brothers, Joel and his family of Manhattan, IL and Chad and his family of Algonquin,Il and sister, Sheri Corcoran and her family of Crystal Lake Il.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Alan.
