Funeral service Thomas D. Austin, 81, of Mobridge, will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Kesling Funeral Home Chapel in Mobridge. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery in Mobridge under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Thomas passed away, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Thomas Dewey Austin was born on July 25, 1944, in Rainer, WA, to Raymond and Zelma (Grey) Austin. In November 1968, he married Laura (Halsey) Austin in Mobridge, SD, and they had 6 children from this union.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, sons Richard T. Austin and Joseph Austin, and daughter Carolyn E. Austin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura (Halsey) Austin, daughters, Karen Austin and Patricia Austin, son, Justin Austin, and grandchildren.
