Terrance (Terry) Scott Holy Elk Face was born on November 18, 1966, to Moses Phillip Walker and Aurelia Faye Buckles. Terry spent much of his childhood in foster care alongside his two brothers, Clint Walker and William Walker.

Terry cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. He enjoyed listening to his favorite radio station Rock 101 along with Guns N' Roses & Metallica. He was a devoted Denver Broncos fan and looked forward to football season each year. He also enjoyed hunting whenever he had the opportunity. In his spare time, Terry often worked with Kevin Byington stripping cars or visited his good friend, Mote.

Throughout his life, Terry was dedicated to serving his community. He worked for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Head Start program for several years, served as a firefighter with the Standing Rock BIA Firefighters, and worked with Standing Rock Sanitation during district clean-up days.

Terry leaves behind his children: Kristen (Beau), Samantha, Melody (David), Taylor, Terry Jo, Thomas, and Terrell (LaTisha); and his stepchildren, Cassandra and Christian Iron Shield.

He is also survived by his brothers, William "Billy" Walker, Clint Walker, and Pete Holy Elk Face Jr.; his sisters, Nancy Kadoun, Shirley Ferstadt, Peggy HawkBear, and Thomasine Magdaleno; his foster brothers, Lester Lund, Donovan Uses Arrow, and Terrance Arp; his Aunt Joyce Staff and family; and his beloved grandchildren: Kyler, Klay, Milaunna, Ryan Jr., Armaria, Kingston, Alexavia, Andriel, King, Davahn, Gretchen, Marlyssa, JR, T.C., Dontez, Michael Drake, Ronnaye, Gabriel, Jasmine, Seraphine, Beau Jr., Harper, Terrance, A'Rayena, Airrance, Desmond, Dream, Haziel, and Montana. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Amirah and Dior, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and grandchildren who loved him dearly.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cynthia SittingDog; his father, Moses Walker; his mother, Aurelia Holy Elk Face; his grandmother, Susan Bow Walker; his aunts, Carmelia Davila and Pearl Day; and his uncle, Leon Bow.

Terry will be remembered for his love of family, his willingness to help others, his years of service to his community, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
