Funeral services for Stella Betty Lindskov, 93, of Isabel will be held at 11:00 AM (CT), Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services. Burial will be at 3:00 PM (CT) at the Hillview Cemetery in Isabel under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Stella passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Rolling Hills Healthcare in Belle Fourche.

Stella (Betty) Dearborn Lindskov was born February 12th, 1930, to Art and Julia Dearborn at their ranch home in Gopher, South Dakota.

She married Mike Frank Jr. in 1945, one daughter Judy was born to this union. In 1949 she married Philip Lindskov, to this union five children were born: Philip Lindskov Jr, Louella Lindskov, Dennis Lindskov, Rebecca Bierman, and Dwight Lindskov.

She and her husband spent most of their years ranching in the Isabel area. Eight years were spent in Dupree after they sold part of their ranch, there she worked for seven and half years as Deputy Auditor for Ziebach County. They returned to the Isabel area in 1984 and she helped her son Philip run his Grocery Store. When he moved to Mobridge, she took over the management of the store for 11 years.

There was not anything that pleased her more then to have all her children and grandchildren home for Holiday meals so the family could all be together.

Survivors include three sons Philip (Leann) of Mobridge, Dennis (Margaret) of Belle Fourche, Dwight (Diana) of Imperial, NE, three daughters Judy Deems of AZ, Louella Lindskov (Bob) of Isabel, and Rebecca (Gene) Bierman of Glad Valley, 13 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Philip, her parents, four sisters, two nephews, grandson Bruce Bierman and grand son-in-law Jace Waddell.

Burial will be in Hillview Cemetery in Isabel under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.
