Funeral service for Shannon (Fox) Jamerson, 39 of McLaughlin will be noon, Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Founding Mother's Gym in McLaughlin. Burial will be int White Shield Family Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 starting at 6PM till 10 PM at the Founding Mother's Gym in McLaughlin. Shannon passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Sanford Health Care in Bismarck, ND.

Shannon Marie Jamerson "White Flower Woman" (Wah'cha Skawin) was born July 28, 1975 to James F. Jamerson and Delilah M. White Shield in Bismarck, ND. She attended McLaughlin Public School and graduated from there. She married Kevin Byington and from this union they had two children, Jessica and Clay Byington. She started working at Prairie Knights Casino as a dealer. Later divorced, she married Kevin Bear Ribs, Jr. and from this union had one daughter Christine Bear Ribs. Later divorced and married Ben Fox. They moved to Bismarck, ND to live and later divorced. She then moved to Tyler, TX to live with her significant other, Cruz Perez. She became ill and moved back on November 2010. She was diagnosed with cancer and fought for four years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She leaves behind Edgar Alonso-Saguro.

Shannon loved to meet new people and make new friends, her kids, movies, music and loved to travel. She especially loved living in Tyler, TX and enjoyed decorating for Holidays and celebrations.

Shannon is survived by her mother Delilah White Shield, brother Alan Jamerson (Billi & Bobbi), sisters, Jamie Wilkinson (Jody), Janel Jamerson, (Kenny & Gavin), Joelle Jamerson (Ian), children, Jessica Byington (Kemper Byington & Wylee Archambault), Clay Byington, & Christine Bear Ribs, numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father James Jamerson, nephew Dustin Wilkinson, maternal grandparents, Helen Iron and Joshua White Shield and paternal grandparents Grace Brown Jamerson and Theron Jamerson.
