Mass of Christian Burial for Scott H. Mollman, age 43, of Spearfish and formerly of McLaughlin will be at 11:30 AM MT, Saturday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in McLaughlin. Burial will be in the McLaughlin City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A Rosary service will be Friday at 5 PM MT at the church with visitation at 4 PM. Scott passed away on April 6 in Rapid City.

Scott H. Mollman, "Bump" was born on December 14, 1967 to Phillip and Rita (Kurle) Mollman in McLaughlin, SD. He attended school at McLaughlin Public School and graduated from Western Dakota Vocational Technical Institute Auto Body Program in Rapid City.

He worked at the McLaughlin Livestock Auction and helped several ranchers around McLaughlin. He also worked at Service Pros, L & L Insulation in Rapid City and on the movie "Dances With Wolves".

He was a bull rider and swimmer. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing (especially at Oak Creek), crafts, gardening, working on cars, motorcycles and was an excellent cook.

His compassion, personality and free spirit made everyone he met an instant friend. He was known by many children as "Dad" or "Uncle Scott". He had a real love for them and was always happy to be there for them.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Brittany Bidelman of Rapid City, sisters, Lynn (Terry) Olson of Commerce City, CO and Lori (Lornie) Hach of McLaughlin, brother, Patrick (Brent Nestor) Mollman of Rapid City, aunts, Noreen (John) Rose of Rapid City, Karen Holso of San Angelo, TX, Mary Lou (Curtis) Vaughan of San Angelo, TX, and Patsy Mollman of Wallowa, WA, uncles, Mike (Marlene) Kurle of Rapid City, Darrell Mollman of Yankton, SD, and Dale "Buzz" Mollman of Morristown, girlfriend, Kim Hartman-Mitzel of Spearfish, long time companion Trina Schortzmann of Blackhawk, SD (mother of Dylan and Alicia) and Special friends, Becky and Floyd Sense, the children who called him dad, Alicia (Marshall) Hood, Ashley Sense, Justin Sense, Austin Sense, Michael Hartman and Matthew Mitzel, Nephews, Matthew (Julie) Olson, Adam (Brandi) Hach, Andrew (Lindsey) Hach, Michael Hauck, Wayne (Becky) Hauck, Steven (Kasandra) Hauck, and Brent Hauck, nieces, Tandy (Troy) Roskop, Meghan Olson and Amber (Justin) Jungwirth and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Mollman, W.E. and Hildred Kurle, father, Phillip, mother, Rita, brother, Wade, sister, Gail, son, Dylan, niece, Angela,, and uncle, Wayne.
