Funeral services for Scott Carter, age 21 of Mobridge, will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 7PM at Kesling Funeral Chapel. Visitation will start at 6PM. Scott passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 in Mobridge.

Scott Alexander Carter was born May 16, 1991 in Beckley, West Virginia to Lonnie A. and Donna K. (Cook) Carter. Scott was raised in West Virginia until the move to Alaska and later to Georgia. He moved to Mobridge in 2008 and attended Standing Rock High School and Sitting Bull where he received his GED.

Scott was always helping the elderly with household chores. He worked at Dairy Queen and had just taken a job with One World. He enjoyed skateboarding, music and spending time with his friends.

Scott is survived by his father, Lonnie Carter I,of Sioux Falls, sister Alicia D. Booher, AK, 4 brothers, Lonnie Carter II, GA, Austin Carter, Wagner, SD. John Carter, Wagner, SD, Lane Carter, Wagner, SD. Nephews, Ethyn Cohen and Christian Carter of AK, nieces, Addyson Kylene and Grey Booher, AK, mom, Amanda R. Martin, 3 brothers, Morning Star Jewett, Anthony B. Jewett, Lyle J. Martin, sister, Brittany R. Jewett.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna K. Cook, and grandmother Margaret A. Carter.
