Funeral services for Samantha Jo White Twin, 37, will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Blue Gym in McLaughlin. Burial will follow at the St. John Cemetery in Bullhead, SD, under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A procession will leave Kesling Funeral Home at 5:00 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2026, to Mclaughlin with a prayer service starting at 7:00 pm at the Gym. Samantha passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Samantha Jo White Twin, 37-year-old, was born December 5th, 1988, in Mobridge, SD to Lolita (Running Hawk) White Twin and Joseph White Twin Jr. She was raised by both her mother Lolita and grandmother Elizabeth Bruguier. She was the youngest and only sister to her 3 brothers from the same parents. She had 5 other siblings from her father’s relationships. She attended both elementary and High School in McLaughlin, SD.

Sami had worked at both Grand River and Prairie Knight Casinos at various times. She also had lived in many different places throughout her life Isabel, McIntosh, Bismarck ND, Minneapolis, MN and Phoenix, Arizona with her Aunt Kristin multiple times before settling back in McLaughlin, SD. This is where she met Patrick Yellow Earrings, they had a son Jaivon and daughter Jaeliyah. In a later union she had 3 other children Kyrie, Camreigh and Khalid.

She was always teasing with everyone and cracking jokes. She was quick to defend herself and not scared to throw a punch or argue with anyone. She always had her family’s back no matter the situation. Sami also could be the sweetest.

Samantha is survived by her Grandmother Elizabeth Bruguier and Pearl Steele and Great Grandmother Anna Mae Steele, Siblings Julian, Rory, Summer, Dominic, Jonessa, Julia and Bernadette. Children: Jaivon, Jaeliyah, Kyrie and Camreigh. Aunt Kristin (Josh) Steele, Uncles Gerald (Mona) Running Hawk, David (Steff) Running Hawk, cousins; Amy (Aysin) Makes Him First, Melody Scott, Kalyn, Karley, Kalista, Shay, Jayson Running Hawk and Kayson Chipman. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her baby son Khalid Jo, Brother Boyd White Twin, Mother Lolita and Father Joseph White Twin Jr., Grandfathers Roger “Jimmy” Steele and Gerald “Jerry” Running Hawk Sr., Grandmother Salina High Elk, Uncles Michael Hagans Jr. and Jonathan High Elk, Auntie Brittany High Elk, Cousins Yamni, Patrick and Ty Running Hawk and Destiny Leaf, Nieces/Nephews: Kerian Zephier, Sadie and Dorian White Twin. Special Friend: Patrick Diver Jr.
