Funeral services for Rosemary Crow Ghost, 68, of McLaughlin will be at 11 AM, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Bullhead School Gym. Burial will be at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Family and friends will leave at 5 PM Friday to the gym for services at 7 PM. Rosemary passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.

Rosemary Crow Ghost was born August 19, 1954 to James & Adelia (White Paw) Crow Ghost, a descendent of Chief Rain In the Face.. She attended grade school in Bullhead and high school in McIntosh, where she graduated in 1974.

After high school, she went to college at Durango College in Colorado.  She was missed by her younger sister, Renee while she was gone. Rosemary also attended United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck. By this time, she had two children, Harold and Heather Crow Ghost and later had two more boys; Dallas and Sheldon Crow Ghost.  Rosemary moved back to Bullhead and raised her children and also helped care for her other nieces and nephews. She  moved to McLaughlin in 1994 after losing her parents, James and Adelia Crow Ghost. Rosemary cared deeply for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, the love for them all was very well seen by all.

Rosemary worked various jobs, she was a cook for the Nutrition for the Elderly at Bear Soldier for many years. In this position, she met many young friends and co-workers that helped her out.  Before getting sick, she worked for the Standing Rock Head Start 0-5 program as a cook.

Rosemary always had a smile on her face, she was very helpful with anything that family asked of her. She loved her family very much, especially her great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Rosemary is survived by children; Harold Crow Ghost, Heather Crow Ghost, Sheldon Crow Ghost, Dallas Shannon Crow Ghost, grandchildren; Tyson, Tiauna, Teagen, Ethan, Sydney, Hunter, Brooklyn, Boyd, Blake, Bradley, Adrianna, Beyounce, Nadine, Shautai, Dawson, Memphis, Seth, London, Dallas Jr., Kya, Chania Jaden, Phoenix, Great-Grandchildren; Kasten, Desmond, Dream, Haziel, Montana, Jasity, Jasten, K'Liyah, Leighton, Leighria, Gabriel, Amiera, Jack, Liam, May'Ella and Bella Rose,  sisters; Jerrilyn Brown Otter, Renee Crow Ghost, brother; Errol Crow Ghost.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; James and Adelia Crow Ghost, her sisters; Iyonne Bear Ribs, Francine Bear Ribs, Carolyn Crow Ghost and  several nieces and nephews.
