Funeral services for Roselene Thompson, age 55, of Dupree will be at 2 PM MT Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at the Whitehorse Community Center. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services. Roselene passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at Med Center One in Bismarck.
Roselene K. Thompson was born May 27, 1935 to Ralph and Serena (Garreaux) Thompson in Rapid City, South Dakota. She grew up in Denver and graduated high school from the Immaculate Conception in Stephan, South Dakota. Roselene went on to college at Mt. Marty and Mansfield Business College. She lived in Mansfield, OH for many years before moving 2005 to Dupree were she has since resided and work for the Family Headstart Program.
She was a devote Christian for over 40 years, in which; she was a member of the Oasis of Love Church in Mansfield. She was a special Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, and Sister. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren. Everyone was Family to Roselene.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Serena Garreaux, her children; Troilyn J. Bradley-Jackson (Cleveland Jackson), Elijah G. Bradley, LaTasha L. Butts (Jeremy Butts) and Tylah J. Howard (Daniel Howard) By her brothers and sisters: Butch Thompson, Guy Thompson, Gloria McMillian and Lorraine Moon. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren that adored her as did
