Obituary
Roger Beranek age 62 of Mobridge passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Mobridge Regional Hospital. Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.
Roger Alan Beranek was born November 24, 1951 in McLaughlin, SD to Ed and Velma (Aman) Beranek. As a boy he lived with his family in McIntosh and Mobridge graduating from Mobridge High School in 1970. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1971, and served during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in October 1976.
He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. Roger cherished his family and friends. He will be great missed.
Roger is survived by his daughters; Lindsay Beranek and Chastity Spiry of Mobridge, grandchildren, Casey, Brady and Karlie Spiry of Mobridge, Morgan Ducheneaux of Sioux Falls, SD, nephew Justin Miner of Mobridge, sister Kandy Summers and family of Aberdeen and brother Ross Beranek of Mobridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law; Nard Spiry and nephew Joey Beranek.
