Memorial services for Robert "Bob" Lipp, 88, of Mobridge will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Kesling Funeral Home. Robert passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home. Kesling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Lipp was born on June 21, 1935, to Michael and Maggie (Bosch) Lipp. He was raised on a farm in the Wakpala, SD area.

On January 8, 1954 he married Ilene Haider. To this union five children were born.

Robert worked in the construction business which had him and his family moving and working in several states. He was most at peace when he was camping. From opening day to closing he loved camping. He met several people and developed many lasting friendships at the campgrounds. He also always enjoyed the McLaughlin and Mobridge rodeos.

Robert loved visits from his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ilene of Mobridge, children, Karla Huff of Mobridge and daughters, Brandy and Beth, Kay (Ron) Gienger of Mobridge, and children, Michael, Missy, Marty and Matt, Kim Habeck of Aberdeen, SD, and sons, Tyler, Jesse and Lance, Kendra (Larry) Hepper of Mobridge and sons, Travis and Clayton, Kirk (Pat) Lipp of Madison, SD and children, Jessica, Jace, Jarryd and Mason, 26 great grandchildren and siblings, Albert, John, Betty, Susie, Sandi, Donnie and Larry.

He is preceded in death by, son-in-law, Raymond Habeck, great grandson, Gus Lee Habeck, brothers, Louie and Bud, sisters, Geraldine, Annie and Alice.
