Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Kills Enemy, age 68, of McLaughlin will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11AM CT at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bullhead, SD Visitation will be Friday from 10 AM to 1PM at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Robert passed away at his home in McLaughlin on Monday, April 9, 2012.

was born July 9, 1943 went to the spirit world April 09, 2012 at his home in McLaughlin, SD. He was born in Manderson, SD on the Oglala Sioux
Nation to the late George Kills Enemy and Emily Holy Rock, and was raised by his grandparents in Grass Creek. He accidentally came on to the Standing Rock Sioux Nation where he met his wife the late Lydia Eagle and remained here until the time of his passing.
For many years Robert was a hunting guide. He also was an avid story teller who liked telling stories. He often told stories from his childhood, all his adventures traveling state to state, and the many deer hunts he went on. In his spare time he like to play at the casino or reload some shells to get ready for the up coming deer season. Robert also liked to watch a good rodeo now and then.
He is survived by his daughters Christina Eagle of McLaughlin, SD, Gertrude (Kenny) Eagle, Carol (Larry) Malcolm of McLaughlin, and Mary Brown of Bismarck, ND, sons Anthony Brown Otter of Winner SD and
Richard Brown, grandkids- Elisa Weasel, Kevin Walks, Kirsten (Tim) Laughter, Pressten Avila, Justice Malcolm, Larry Malcolm Jr., Dessirae Brown, Jeffery Brown Otter, Ivan (Bug) Brown Otter, Michaela Hertel, Aaliyah Spotted Elk, Cole Spotted Elk, adopted grandkids- Tjay, Randy, Sammy, Josh, Jesse, Amanda, great grandkids- Kristiana, Amelia, Sheldon, Haidee , Chloe, Keagon, Olivia, Izzy Jr, and whoever else considered him there grandpa, also grand-pets- Shadee, Big June, and Zeke.
Also surviving Robert is his sister Geraldine Blue Bird, nieces Deane
Norman, Bobbie Spotted Elk, and Babette Thin Elk, nephews Colin
Spotted Elk and Eli Bald Eagle, cousins Wilma Thin Elk and Doris
Respects Nothing, grand kids Brandy Norman and Lorenzo Norman
He is preceeded in death by his wife Lydia Kills Enemy, Father George Kills Enemy, Mother Emily Holy Rock, Father in-law Eli Eagle and mother in-law Katherine Eagle and recently his uncle Johnson Holy
