Funeral services for Robert Foote Jr., age 47, of McLaughlin will be at 1 PM CT on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in McLaughlin. Burial will be in St. Johns Episcopal Cemetery in Bullhead under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all night wake will start at 6 PM CT on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the church. Robert passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 in McLaughlin.

Robert Foote, Jr. was born January 30, 1963 to Robert Sr. and Eleanor (Bear Rib) Foote. He lived in Bullhead till he was 25 years old, then moved to Minneapolis for 20 years, and moved back to McLaughlin in 2008. Robert enjoyed hanging out with his friends.

Robert is survived by two brothers Dean Bear Rib and Leman Chasing Hawk, two sisters Corliss Flying Bye and Gertie Eagle, adopted sisters Marlys Martinez Marshall, girlfriend Melissa Wolf Black, and son, Robert Trevor Foote III.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Foote, Sr., and Eleanor (Bear Rib) Foote, grandparents Andrew Bear Rib, Mary Bear Rib, Ambrose Running Hawk, and Emily Running Hawk.

Casketbearers are Collins Brown Otter, Marlin Antelope, Kevin Bear Ribs, Jr., Orwin Flying Horse, Pete Flying Horse, Jerry Bear Rib, Joe Running Hawk, Leon Running Hawk, and Thomas Otter Robe.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Kevin Bear Rib, Sr., Harold One Feather, Milton Uses Arrow, Shawn Skinner, Dan Bullhead, Rodney Reeds, Randy Otter Robe, Terry Archambault, Lou Uses Arrow, Rufus Reeds, Robin Gunhammer, Barbara Mousseaux, Charlette Village Center, Butch Spotted Horse, Roland Thundershield Sr., Roland Thundershield, Jr., James Steele, Darrell Condon, Alfred Weasel, and Iyonne Bear Ribs and Family.
