The memorial service for Rita will be at 10:00 am, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Family Worship Center in Mobridge. A lunch will be served at the Edge Event center with a burial to follow at the Hunt Family Cemetery. Rita Ullmann, age 85, passed away peacefully at Walworth County Care Center on June 16, 2026, from cancer.

Born to Dallas & Fae Eklund in Kalispell, Montana. She made her home in McLaughlin, South Dakota for many of her years, before living on a sailboat for 4 years, then moving to Pocomoke City, Maryland for 20 years. She recently returned to Timber Lake, South Dakota for her last few years.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Marti and Donna and her husband, Bill Ullmann. She leaves behind her brother Brian Eklund, five children: Debbie McAdams, Dallas Schott, Joyce Mulloy, John Ullmann, and Angie Ullmann as well as many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many others that Rita made lasting impressions on through her years.
