Funeral services for Rita E. Joshua age 64 will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Cannonball Red Gym. Burial will be in the All Nations Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Rita passed away Monday, December, 2018 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.
Rita was born March 18, 1954 at Fort Yates to Francis and Victoria (Conica) Joshua, she grew up in the Cannon Ball area. She attended Sitting Bull College and United Tribes.

Rita joined the United States Navy and then went to the United States Marine Corp. In 1975 Rita was 2 ^nd runner-up for Miss UTEC.

Maynard and Rita had a special bond for over 32 years.

Rita was a member of the Matthew American Horse American Legion Post #259

Rita enjoyed many games, was very supportive of her husband and son dancing. She had a big heart would be there to help people in need she would drop everything to be with them.

Rita has a great knowledge of history she would instill this in her daughter

Rita is survived by her daughter, Tara Lee Joshua, her fiancée Kisha McGuire, granddaughter, Shayle Jade McGuire, son, Jeremy Lester, adopted son Jaron Lester, sisters, Helene, Myra, Lucy, brothers, Micheal, Noah, uncles, Lonnie Wise Spirit, Billy Joshua, aunts, Angeline Iron Road, Henrietta Starr, numerous grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by her daughter, Tia, special companion, Maynard Two Bears, parents, brothers, Gerald Joshua, Matthew Joshua, sisters, Barnette, Mary, Andrea.
