Funeral services for Richard Gabe age 41 of Mobridge and formally of Albuquerque, NM will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Catholic Church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kenel. Interment will be in the St. Bede's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Family and Friends are asked to meet at Kesling Funeral Home at 5:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 to process to the Wakpala Community Center for all night wake to begin at 7:00 PM at the Wakpala Community Center. Richard passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his mother's home in Mobridge, SD.

Richard Charles Gabe was born in Fort Yates, North Dakota on July 31, 1977 to Elwin and Cheryl (Cadotte) Gabe. Richard entered the spirit world March 30, 2019.

Richard enjoyed spending time at his grandparent's ranch, below Rattlesnake Butte throughout his younger years. He also enjoyed family outings of any kind. He loved to grill and spend time with friends and family. He was very proud of his nick name "Hazzard" and always left everyone with a smile or a laugh. He will be truly missed.

Richard is survived by his mother, Cheryl Cadotte (Gabe), of Mobridge, SD, daughters, April and Desarae Rosetta, Albuquerque, NM, sisters, Melody Gabe, Danielle Cadotte and Vanessa Cadotte all of Mobridge, SD, nieces, Samantha Cadotte and Ramsay Cadotte Schlosser, Aberdeen, SD, nephew, Bronson Cadotte, Mobridge, SD, sister-cousin, Tanya Cadotte, Mobridge, SD. Brother-cousin, Harlan Cadotte Jr., Mobridge, SD. Great-grand-nephew, Bronson Bradley Cadotte Jr., Mobridge, SD.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Elwin Richard Gabe, and numerous aunts, uncles and grandparents.
