Obituary
Funeral services for Rex Makes Him First, 73, of Wakpala will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Whitehorse. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all-night wake service will be held at the Wakpala Community Center on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM. An additional all-night wake service will be held at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Rex passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, in Wakpala.
A comfort service is scheduled for 6:00 PM, Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Wakpala Community Center.
