Funeral services for Rebecca Wells age 57 of Wakpala will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Wakpala Community Center. Interment will be in the St. Elizabeth Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. All night wake will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Wakpala Community Center. Rebecca passed away December 25, 2016 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. All singers and drummers are welcome.

She was born August 31, 1959 in Wakpala to Lester and Minerva (Four Bear) Wells
Becky graduated from the Wakpala High School, she then went to work at the Youth Conservation Corp.
She met Charles Holy Bear of Fort Yates, ND to this union 3 children were born.
Becky was a loving caring mother, grandmother, sister. Watching her grandson Everett as he was her world. Becky probably went to ever concert that the Prairie Knight Casino put on over the years.
Every Sunday Becky would call Kesling Gospel hour to request a song or for announcement of Birthdays, or Anniversary, she loved country and gospel music.
Becky was known as the Fried Bread Queen of Standing Rock she would make this for the families that would request it for funerals, wedding, and graduation. She was proud of her community and was very involved with helping other in their time of need. Becky spent numerous years with Randy Kills Small right up to the time of her death.
She is survived by her 3 children, Charles Wells Jr., John Wells, Lorne Wells, 3 grandchildren, Everett, Bretten, Jazzilynn, Becky's siblings. Nathan, Frank, Julie, Beatrice, many nieces and nephews.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, special friend Charles Holy Bear Sr., Ken Poor Bear, Thomas Wells, Josephine Wells, Chancy Wells, Genio Farrell, Phillip Farrell, and a sister in infancy Josephine. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
