Funeral services for Rayfield Allan Drake Little Dog, 21, of McLaughlin, will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Gym in Little Eagle. All night wake services will begin on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Blue Gym with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Interment under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home will take place at Messiah Cemetery. Rayfield passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital in Mobridge.

Rayfield Allen Drake Little Dog was born on May 07, 2001, to Nadine Little Dog & Gabriel Martin in Mobridge, SD. He loved to listen to music, hang out w friends & family, but most importantly, loved to ride horses. He was always out & about with someone either catching a horse, breaking a horse or just simply riding horse. He attended grade school at Pierre Indian Learning Center, then started at McLaughlin School. He was in school until the 10th grade. He respected, loved & was always helping others before himself.

Rayfield is survived by his father, Gabriel Martin; 2 brothers, Bradford Seaton, Braxton Little Dog; 7 sisters, Gabrielle Little Dog, Larissa Iron Cloud, Bernice Little Dog, Maske' Plenty Chief,  Natessa Martin, Xandriah Martin, Fayemarie Martin;  Aunt; Adele Little Dog; Uncles, Burton Little Dog, Bradley Little Dog Sr.; Grandmother Elizabeth Little Dog, Grandfather Jasper Iron Cloud whom he called mom & dad; two favorite nieces, Azaria & Azarae; His daughter Briar James Grey Bear & son, Kyrin Joseph Grey Bear. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmothers, grandfathers  & friends he called brother & sister.

Rayfield is proceeded in death by his mother, Nadine Little Dog. Maternal great-grandparents, Norman Sr & Delma Little Dog. Great-grandmothers, Laverne Peacock, Sybil Foster. Aunt, Johnna Foster. Uncle, Justin YellowEarrings. & his bestfriend, Charles Little Bear.
