Mass of Christian Burial for Noah Louis Martin, 19, of Eagle Butte will be 10:00 AM Monday. April 16, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Mossman Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 beginning at 6:00 PM at the church with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Noah passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Eagle Butte.

Noah Louis Martin was born on May 29,1998 to Heather Leigh Rousseau and Vernon Louis Martin Jr at the IHS Hospital in Eagle Butte, SD.   From the moment he was born he was smiling and jabbering. As he grew so did that smile and his gift of storytelling which got him in and out of trouble more often than not. His conversations with his mom, dad or anyone could and would turn into discussions on a particular view that one usually didn't agreed with but by the end Noah had you agreeing with him and leaving you wondering how you ever doubted him.

As a little boy he enjoyed helping his grandpa "Blue One" (Vern) work cows and mow the lawn. He was a constant sometimes "uninvited" traveling companion of Grandpa Gary and Grandma Tudee who faithfully took him to appointments when he was little or just traveling.

He enjoyed camping at the river with Grandma Kathy, "Great" Grandma Susan, his brother and his cousins during the summers. He excelled at school but didn't really like to actually go but with a little prodding from his mom and Jo Lavae, Noah graduated high school in May 2016 and has been working with his Grandpa Vernie and his dad farming.

He is survived by his parents Vernon Louis Martin (Darci) and Heather Maxwell (Joe) and his brother Aidan Martin. Grandparents Vern and Kathy Martin (Ridgeview, SD), Gary and Tudee Rousseau (Eagle Butte), Great Grandparents Avin and JoAnn Martin (Piedmont, SD) Uncle Grant and Lori Martin (Ridgeview) Aunt Marti Jo and Sergio Miranda (Amarillo, Texas), Aunt Susan Jeanette Martin (Ridgeview), Aunt Kenna and Sid LaPlante (Eagle Butte), Aunt Kaycee Rousseau and Kelly Berndt (Eagle Butte) and Uncle Heath and Caitlin Rousseau (Pierre). His godson, Ransom Martin, all his aunts, uncles, cousins and his faithful companion-his dog Bella.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers Dorothy Rousseau and Ruby G Marshall.  Several great aunts and great uncles and cousins.
