Funeral services for Nickolas Paypay, 45, of Redmond, WA, will be at 1 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the McLaughlin Blue Gym. Burial will be at Elk Horn UCC Cemetery in Little Eagle under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 5 PM Monday with a prayer service at 7 PM at the gym. Nickolas passed away December 20, 2024 in Redmond.

Nicholas "Nikki" James Pay Pay was born on June 9, 1979, to Robert (Pay Pay) Sudden Brave and Anetha Eagleshield in Fort Yates, North Dakota. He attended elementary school in McLaughlin, then relocated to Seattle, Washington. He was adventurous with many talents. He believed in his Lakota way of life and was a member of the Standing Rock Nation, a water protector and a proud father of two beautiful daughters.  Anetha and Anetha.  He called Standing Rock Nation home where he has many, many relatives. He had a sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke with family and friends. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed listening to his music and going to pow-wows where he met many life-long friends (he was a supporter of No DAPL).

He will be missed.
