Funeral services for Nephi Sky Antelope age 32 of Sioux Falls will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Interment will be in the Elkhorn UCC Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night will begin at 5:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Nephi passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Portland, OR.

The year of 1986 there was this star named Starboy. Tunkasila told Starboy he could pick who he wanted as his "Ina" mother. So the Starboy proudly picked who he wanted to love as his "Ina" mother.

On October 24, 1986 Audrey (Antelope) Elk Looks Back welcomed Nephi Antelope into the world at Fort Yates, ND. At age 3 months he began to live with his second "Ina" Mother, Ernestine Antelope off and on.

He attended Little Eagle Head Start then later attended Little Eagle Day School. At the age of 8, Nephi started to enjoy time with his brothers. His "Ina" mother Audrey resided in White Horse, SD and he would follow his brothers in many adventures there. He had a love for horses so they often would go riding horse. It was like they were their own wolf pack sharing an unbreakable bond. He loved all his family & especially his wolf pups. When he had time you would catch him sitting with his uncles Charles Antelope & Myron Fast Horse. Learning from them & sharing laughter. Younger brother Elvis Fast Horse and Nephi had a very special bond growing up they became inseparable.

His culture was important to him and his way of life.

We will miss his beautiful singing voice that's sure. He carried a loving and forgiving heart which we won't forget.

He has four brothers, Darvin Fast Horse, Elvis Fast Horse, Kermit Jr, & Casino Elk Looks Back, Also five sisters, Sonya, Tashina, Kim, Kermitta, & Kristen, Adopted siblings, Sybil. Robyn, Bridgitt, Lenore, Bernie, Roxanne, Vanessa, Donielle, Max Chan, Gina, Jim Chambers, Arthur, Rolland Jr.

Nephi was a "One of a kind' uncle. He had 7 nieces Kimmarie, Cedar, Serenity, Kimora (Mischa) Sagelynn, Kaloni, & Kerrigan. He had 6 nephews which he called his wolf pups, Triston Sky, Karston, Jeremiah, Koyai, Karter, & Kash.

Nephi enjoyed all the time he could with his wolf pups. Many people loved Nephi for who he was. His last days he spent living off the land traveling the United States.

Nephi is survived by his "Ina" mother Audrey Elk Looks Back of Sioux Falls, SD, A'te Matthew Elk Looks Back of Rosebud, SD, siblings Darwin Fast Horse of Shakopee, MN, Elvis Fast Horse, of Yankton, SD, Kermit (Lanice) Miner Jr., Casino Elk Looks Back, of Sioux Falls, SD, Sonya (Charles) Young, Sonny Johnson, Kermitta (Kerry) Miner of Sioux Falls, SD, Kim (Abraham) Smith, Kristen Miner of Salem, OR.

Nephi was preceded in death by his second "Ina" mother Ernestine Antelope, Grandma Lenore Chasing Hawk, Uncle Levi "Bill" Antelope, Uncles Edison Jr, Donovan Fast Horse, & nephew Billy James, Grandpa Ambrose Chasing Hawk.
