Funeral services for Nathan J. Ridl age 28 of Timber Lake will be 4PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Kesling Funeral Chapel in Mobridge, with Rev. Delbert Bock officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 11AM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services. Nathan passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his home.

Nathan was born on April 9, 1987 in Dickinson, ND. He attended elementary school in Dickinson completed high school in 2004 in Beach, ND. As a child he helped his mom, at the pet store that the family owned. As he got older he would do other work. He like to hang out with his best friend Nick Mayer. Whenever you seen one the other wouldn't be to far behind. Nathan also loved being around vehicles, which sometimes would get him in trouble.

In August of 2005, he met Jackie Klingman, the woman of his dreams. On June 6, 2006, Nathan become a dad to a son for the first time, in 2009, another little boy was born, in 2011 a little girl was born, and in 2015 a little boy was born. Nathan was very proud of all his children. Nathan loved all of his children with all of his heart. He could always be seen playing games or chasing the children around. He always made sure that his children never went without.

Nathan was kind hearted, loving, and caring. He loved animals very much. Anytime he seen a hurt or lost animal, he would take care of it right away. He had dreams of fixing up his pickup so that it looked new, but unfortunately it never happened. Nathan liked spending time with his father-in-law Steve Klingman.

On April 29, 2015 Nathan married the love of his life Jackie, Nathan was so happy about being able to get married. He said he was the luckiest man alive to have a wife that loved him so much and that would stay by his side through everything he was going through. But the Lord decided it was time for Nathan to go home and to be without pain and hurt.

Nathan is survived by his wife, Jackie Ridl of Timber Lake; his two sons, Jesse and Colton Ridl of Timber Lake; one daughter, Katie Ridl of Timber Lake; his adoptive mother, Annie Ridl of Dickinson, ND; his dad, Loren Pierce of Dickinson; his step-mom, Deb Zastoupil of Dickinson; his mom, Kristina Perdew of Flasher, ND; his step-dad, Terry Binder of Flasher; his grandma, Jean Ridl of Fargo, ND; his sisters, Brooke Roquet of Dickinson, Jessie (Ben) Lemieux of Dickinson, Jayne Ridl of Dickinson, Jody (Todd) Heck of Dickinson, Megan Binder of Flasher, Bobbie Van Horne of Brainerd, MN, Jackie (Russ) Jandt of Helena, MT, and Jade Watson of Helena, MT; his brothers, Nick Mayer of Dickinson, Jeff Nelson of Dickinson, Jordan Pierce of Dickinson, and Jim (Dawn) Wright of Yuma, AZ; his special niece, Kaydra Buffalo; his special nephew, Ashton Roquet of Dickinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Nathan was preceded in death by his son Dylan Ridl, adopted dad Norman, grandparents.
