Funeral services for Michael Has Horns Sr., 49, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Little Eagle will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Interment will be in Eagleshield/Has Horn Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 begins 5:00 PM with prayer service at 7:00 PM at the gym. Michael passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Sioux Falls.

Michael Allan Has Horns was born June 21, 1969 at Bismarck, ND to Fern Has Horn. He attended Little Eagle Day School where he graduated from 8 ^th grade. In 1986 he met Bridgette Taken Alive, in 1987 his daughter Claudette was born and 1988 his son Mike Jr. He was a proud father he then began working as a wildland firefighter he enjoyed firefighting. He met a lot of good friends, He was proud to be a grandpa. He loved his family always keeping in touch.

Michael is survived by, wife Vernadine Reed, his mother, Fern Has Horns, son, Michael Has Horns Jr. and Amanda, daughter, Claudette Taken Alive, 11 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Richards, Marquel Sandquist, Cha Bobtail Bear, Travaughn Bobtail Bear, Chet Bobtail Bear, Maleah, Michelle, Mercedes, Michal, Myasiah, Micha Has Horns, Mary and Leroy White who were like a mom and dad always there through everything. Brother, Russel & Virginia Has Horns, Mason & Gerretta Has Horns, sister, Tylee & Charles Eagle Pipe, Uncle Sidney & Beverly Eagle Shield, Garry & Crystal Weasel, Ila Weasel & Brian Iron Shield, Danny Has Horns Jr, Phyllis Has Horns, Kevin Has Horns, Bea Skinner & family, Jessica & Eldon Reeds, Sharon Theophale Eagle, Adie Yellow Earrings, Marilyn Yellow Earrings, Emily Yellow Earrings, Eunice Bruguer, All nieces and nephews and family, friends, Brother in law Dana Fast Horse and family.
