Melanie was born on July 26, 1973 to Martha and Leroy Dobler in Fort Yates, North Dakota. She attended school at McLaughlin Elementary, Middle School and graduated High School in 1992. Secondary Education at Minot State University College of Business.
On Sunday, November 13, 2022; our beloved Mother and dear Sister Delores reached through the veil of eternity, embrace Melanie, guided her to Paradise, where her son Wyatt Dean awaits her. Together with other family members and relatives who passed; a joyous reunion celebration was held.
Melanie's quest for adventure took her to many different places finally settling in Bismarck, North Dakota. She enjoyed and lived her life to her own convictions and choices, never letting others or situations dictate her. Already born with some health issues, which turned into major health concerns and challenges. After enduring so much problems with her illnesses for many years, Melanie has left this earthly state to continue life in the care of her parents, siblings who have gone before and in Our Heavenly Father's grace. Left with the Special Memory of Melanie's last hours are her sisters, Kathay and Beverly, brother Brian, nephew Jon Sam, niece Jenn Mellette and her beautiful daughter Leta Marie.
Also, left with memories are her extended family members who kept vigil, in touch through their cell phones and offering prayers at home, during the transition of Melanie's journey to the Spirit World. A few words she shared with the physician and caretakers at Sanford, when she was able to, was that she loved all her relatives very much.
Due to the extent of Melanie's living relatives and family members; if anyone can connect to the family names of Catch The Bear, Takes The Hat, Dobler and Hertel, you are relatives of Melanie's.
Humble gratitude with Honor to Mrs. Naomi (Ducheneaux) Johnson, who expressed friendship, patience, and unconditional love to Melanie. To the staff at Sanford Medical Center and other health care facilities at which Melanie resided; much thanks is due to them for the excellent and compassionate care.
