Memorial services for Mary F. Cripe age 100 of Mobridge will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Mary passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Mary Francis Cripe was born August 29, 1913 in Streator, Illinois to Mae (Thomas) and John Francis. She attended school in Streator and graduated in 1931. Mary grew up living on a golf course. She and her brother and sister had a passion for golf and were all accomplished golfers.

On August 15, 1935 she married Donald A. Cripe in Ottawa, Illinois. Mary was employed by the Federal Government as a clerk, Montgomery Wards and Cripe's Studio. In 1967 they moved to Dunedin, Florida.

In June 2004 Mary moved to Mobridge where she lived with her son Robert and daughter in law Sharon. She was an avid reader and visited the library weekly. Mary loved people, pets and life. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mobridge.

Mary is survived by her son; Robert (Sharon) Cripe, granddaughter; Jennifer (Jim) Pottala, grandson; Richard L. Cripe, 3 great grandsons, 3 nieces, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mae Francis, her husband; Donald, one son; Richard Cripe, daughter in law; Peggy, her brother; William Francis, and sister; Eliza Jane Hagedorn.
