Mass of Christian Burial for Marcella O'Donnell, 98, of Mobridge, SD, is 10:00AM, Saturday, June 13, 2015, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Mobridge. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation is 6:00-7:00PM, Friday, June 12, 2015, with a rosary and scriptural service at 7:00PM, at the church. Marcella passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Marcella was born on October 21, 1916, in Campbell County, South Dakota, to Joseph and Mary (Dreps) Damberger. She graduated from Herreid High School in 1936 and went on to attend Notre Dame Junior College. She graduated from college with a Teaching Degree. After graduating and teaching, she met her future husband, James O'Donnell, and the two were married on April 26, 1940.

She is survived by her children, Gerald O'Donnell of Mobridge, Pat Tisdall of Selby, SD, Sheila Ann Stoick of Lakewood, CO, Dorothy McMahen of Yankton, SD, Charles O'Donnell of St. George, UT, and Monica (Jim) Mushitz of Lakewood, CO; 15 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, son-in-law, parents, three brothers, and one sister.
