Funeral service for Madison Gill age 14 of Mobridge, will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Scherr Howe Arena. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2016 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Madison passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Mobridge Regional Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted with Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Madison Michelle Gill. "Maddie", was born June 2nd, 2001, in Mobridge, SD to Heather Caplinn and Lewis Gill. She was currently a freshman at Mobridge-Pollock High School, Class of 2019.
Maddie was a warm, sweet, bright, and artistic young girl. She was loving, kind, beautiful, and creative with stories and poetry. In grade school, Madison participated in Mini Kix Dance from 2010-2011. Maddie loved going to rummage sales with Grandma Ruth and fishing with Uncle Dave. She liked doing puzzles, shopping, camping, and going to the river with friends and family. Maddie loved animals and inspired to be a veterinarian. She loved her doggies, Nikita and Beastie. She was such a beautiful young lady with soulful eyes, a bright smile, and cheeks speckled with angel kisses. Maddie left us with love, memories, and feelings that will never be explained. She will forever live on through our beautiful memories and the love we shared. We will meet again when your spirit touches the wind. Madison is survived by her mom and brother, Heather and Mattaius Caplinn, her dad, step-mom, sisters and brothers, Lewis, Bridget, Abigail, Alexia, Shawn, Alex, and Isabella Gill, her step-dad and sisters, Tony, Bethany, and Emily Anderson, her grandparents Wayne and Betty Anderson, her grandma, Julie Ducheneaux, her grandpa, Ronnie Ducheneaux, her uncles, Dave Fritz, Bodey Ducheneaux, Lance Anderson, Bryce (Linnea) Hepper, and Shawn (Kelly) Hepper, her aunts, Toni Shillingstad, Cheyenne Ducheneaux, Dana Anderson, Cheryl Block, Starla Hundstad, Kristi Busch, and Janelle Waters, her numerous cousins with special mention of the closest ones, Kiersten, Ayden, Haleigh, Jaci, and Brayden, her besties, Maya Runnels, Tashawna Apple, and Iyanna White Owl.
She was preceded in death by her grandma, Michelle Caplinn, her great-grandmas, Ruth Caplinn, Sharon Ducheneaux, Marion Sandal, her great grandpas, Wayne Caplinn and Maynard Ducheneaux.
