Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Iron Thunder, age 51, of McLaughlin will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night wake Friday, August 17, 2018 will begin at 6:00 PM at the school gym with a rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Lorraine passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Lorraine Dividica Iron Thunder was born July 25, 1967 at Fort Yates to Germaine Archambault Eagle and Theodore Iron Thunder Sr. Lorraine attended grade school in Bullhead, High School in Fort Yates and her Senior Year her St. Mary's High School in Springfield, SD.

Lorraine became Miss Standing Rock during the summer after graduating from high school. Lorraine moved to Minneapolis, MN where she met Jerome Otter Robe. Together they had 3 children Kami, Kayla and Anthony. After six years she moved back to Bullhead lived with her mother until 1993 she moved to Lower Brule, SD. There she met Sam Charger Sr., they got married in 2001, with this union they had 2 children, Sam, Jr. and Maria Jo.

Lorraine worked for many years at the Golden Buffalo Casino as a Security Guard. She made a lot of friends there and was well known to all. Lorraine was accepted into the Wilma Wilson family as a sister and daughter.

The year 2003 she divorced Sam and moved back home. Then she met Kenny Spotted Horse, they had one son Kole.

In 2007 she was employed with the IHS in McLaughlin, SD. Until the time of her death.

Lorraine was loved by many friends. With her personality she brightens your day with her big smile. Her unique laugh was well known. Everyone knew she was in the building. She had a humorous personality.

Lorraine loved to do her hobbies in her spare time which was beading, sewing and making moccasins with her co-workers. While growing up she was known by two nicknames, that stuck with her Witchy Poo and Pumpkin.

Lorraine loved her grandchildren, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially for family.

Lorraine is survived by her children; Kami, Kayla, Anthony, Jamie, Maria Jo, Sam, Jr., and Kole , seven sisters, Wilma (Vince) Tiger, Veronia (Everette) Jamerson, Antoinette (Herb) Goodlow, Zetah (David) Red Bear, Linda Iron Thunder, Kathy (Gene) Morrison, Johnelle (Elliott) Jacobson, two brother, Benny and Theodore Iron Thunder, adopted brother, Don Yellow and Bertrand (Tote) Carpenter, three grandchildren, Daphie, Domonique and Ariel, one grandson Anthony Jr. (AJ), Many from the Little Eagle, Archambault, Eagle and Iron Thunder Tiospoye.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Germaine Eagle and Theodore Iron Thunder, two brothers Timothy Archambault and Myron Iron Thunder, and adopted brother Ron Yellow, one sister Betty Ann Archambault Harris, nephew Dominick Archambault and niece Germaine (Morrison) Kaseman.
