Funeral services for Lorraine L. Roebuck age 92 of Mobridge will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2017 at Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Interment will be in the Mobridge City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2017 beginning at 4:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Lorraine passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Lorraine was born June 24, 1924 to Fred and Rosa (Goetz) Berg on a farm S.W. of Selby. She attended rural school. The family moved to the Akaska area. Lorraine was confirmed at the Lowry Congregational Church in Lowry.

Lorraine married Earl Roebuck in Mobridge on April 2, 1945. They lived on different farms in Walworth and Corson County, they moved to California for several years. Moving back to Mobridge, South Dakota which she referred to "God's Country" often.

Lorraine was a home maker most of her life, loved to bake, cook, did a lot of canning. Family, friends, relatives enjoyed her cooking, German Food, Breads and Etc.

Lorraine always had a Love and concern for her family tried to help where ever enjoyed their visits always prepared for them. Lorraine was a member of the United Methodist Church in Mobridge.

Lorraine is survived by her 4 children Sharon Schmidt, Linda Barz, Jetta Bollinger, Lloyd Roebuck, nine grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Velma Schneider, special sister-in-law Verne Faehnrich and other relatives and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Earl Roebuck, Son, Wade Roebuck, great-grandson, Christian Roebuck Chavez, parents Fred and Rosa Berg, brother Calvin, two sisters in infancy.
