Funeral services for Lorine Raugutt, 91, of Mobridge will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Pastor Peter Naumann will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Lorine passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Lorine Raugutt was born on June 4, 1924 in Eureka, SD, to Fred and Emily (Pfeifle) Kappes. She went to grade school near Trail City, then the Northwestern Lutheran Academy. She received her teaching certificate from Northern State University. After getting her certificate she taught at the Harding School. Lorine married Ted Raugutt on July 7, 1946. Following their marriage they made their home in Mobridge where she has since resided. She worked at several businesses as a bookkeeper and then the US Post Office.

Lorine was a lifelong member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. In her spare time she liked to fish, do needlework and garden. She also was very dedicated to her family and her church.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Raugutt of Mobridge and Lois (Jerry) Balliet of Dickinson, ND, two grandsons, Jason (Kim) Balliet of Dickinson, ND, and Wade (Michelle) Balliet of Thornton, CO, four great grandchildren, Paige, Jake, Will, and Brynn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ted in 2010, son, David in infancy, and brother, Herbert.
