Visitation services for Loren Archambault, 56, of Bullhead will be from 6- 9 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Memorial services and inurnment will be held in the spring. Loren passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home in Bullhead.
Loren J. Archambault was born on February 1, 1968 to Sybil Archambault and Lawrence Brownotter. He was raised in Bullhead, SD and attended elementary school there and then attended high school in Fort Yates, ND

Loren was a loving and kind-hearted man who was always willing to help others. Throughout his life, he demonstrated a deep commitment to his community and those around him. Loren worked as a maintenance worker at the Coeur d'Alene Casino and cherished his time as a ranch hand in the Bullhead area. He also dedicated his efforts to being a Little League coach and as the Rock Creek District Chairman where he carried out good deeds and community work for the District.
Loren lived in several places throughout his life including Bullhead, Spirit Lake, Spokane, Bismarck and Aberdeen. Loren was a proud member of the American Legion Port 324, Sons of the American Legion. As the son of a Vietnam Veteran and U.S. Army KIA, Loren was deeply proud to carry his father's MIA-KIA flag honoring his memory and sacrifice.
Loren is survived by his children Andrew Brown, Tawna Iron Shield, Tyler and Christine Archambault, Cole and Chance Archambault and Liam Free. He is also survived by his Hun'ka Mom Charlotte Archambault. Brothers: Paul Archambault, Lawrence (Erin) Archambault, Dennis Archambault, Russell (Brina) Archambault, Cyril (Crissy) Archambault, Anthony Agard, Harold Takes The Gun, Coleman Hairy Chin, Joseph Montana (Karen) and Sonny Windspirit. Sisters: Paulette Archambault-Hepler (Andrew), Lorna Takes The Gun, Lisa Agard, Christa Paneto, Colleen Spotted Horse, Becky Archambault and Melissa Archambault and his Aunt Cheryl Dominguez. Additionally, Loren is survived by members of the Brownotter family. Uncles Percy Brownotter, Courtney Brownotter, Ivan Brownotter and Ron Brownotter. Aunts: Jolene Brownotter and Janet Brownotter.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents Sybil Archambault and Lawrence Brownotter. His maternal grandparents Cyril and Lucy Archambault and paternal grandparents Clayton and Cecelia Brownotter, Hun'ka Dad Wyman Archambault, Aunties: Diane Hairy Chin, Judy Brownotter and Mary Jo Brownotter and Uncle Clayton Brownotter Jr. He was also preceded by cousins Freeman Hairy Chin, Diane Archambault, Baby Paul Archambault and Joshua Spotted Horse.
Loren's legacy of kindness, community service and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
