Memorial Services for Lisa Schneider, age 33 of Bismarck, ND and formerly of Selby, will be 10:30 AM, Friday, December 5, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church in Akaska,SD under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Lisa passed away November 30, 2014 at her home in Bismarck.

Lisa Elaine Schneider was born August 14, 1981, to Dennis and Susan (Holzwarth) Schneider in Mobridge, SD. She attended Selby Area School throughout her graduation with honors on May 22, 1999. During those years she loved teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School; she worked at the Berens Café, took French Horn, piano, and guitar lessons. She loved to swim and was a lifeguard at the Selby Pool for one year.
Lisa was also a football and basketball cheerleader, as well as playing on the volleyball team.

After high school, Lisa attended the University of Mary in Bismarck for a time. She enjoyed traveling and lived in Raleigh-Durham, NC for a short time. She attained one of her dreams in being able to visit Hawaii.

She moved back home to an apartment in Selby and worked at BankWest and in the dining room at the Good Samaritan Center. She loved interacting with the elderly. She also worked part-time at the Berens Cloverleaf. Bismarck seemed to call her back again, so she got a job and moved there permanently. Lisa succumbed to her eating disorder after a 20 year struggle.

Lisa is survived by her parents; Dennis and Susan Schneider and her brother; David of Selby, SD.

She was preceded in death by all her grandparents, Andrew and Violet Schneider; Edgar and Clara Holzwarth.
