Funeral services for Linda Naasz, age 66 of Mobridge will be at 2 PM, Monday August 14, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 5 PM Sunday with a prayer service at 7 PM at Kesling Funeral Home. Linda passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo North Dakota.

Linda Lou Naasz was born March 13, 1951 to Robert and Betty (Feichtner) Jones in Mobridge. She grew up and attended school in Mobridge. Linda worked many years as a waitress at the Gay Time, Brown Palace Lounge and the Embers Fireside. She was working as a waitress at the Fireside when she met Daniel Naasz. She and Daniel were married on August 22, 1981 in Mobridge. Over the years, Linda worked various jobs including; residential cleaning services, In Home Health Care, Moose and Payless Foods. The most rewarding part of her life was caring for her grandchildren on a regular basis.

Her heart and joy were her grandkids, they enjoyed coming to Grandma and Grandpas for sleep overs, sweets, games and swimming in the backyard which she made sure to put up the pool every year. She was an amazing cook. She never used a recipe and her children could never duplicate any of her dishes when asking her for a recipe she always said "A little of this and a little of that". There are no words or expressions to adequately describe who she really was. As a devoted wife, mother, grandma (nana), great grandma, sister, no one can ever fill her shoes.

Linda enjoyed gardening where there was always a beautiful display of her rose bush and plants every year. Her passions included family gatherings every year in August, holiday decorating especially Halloween which included a big Halloween display each year. Her joy showed through her constant smiling, laughter, sense of humor and the family prankster will never be forgotten.

Linda is survived by her husband Daniel of 36 years, her children: Kim (Joyce) Krumm of Mobridge, Kristie (Pete) Reichert of Mobridge, Tina (Matt) Aberle of Aberdeen, Danielle (Darin) Thorstenson of Selby, Bridgette Naasz of Aberdeen. Two sisters Janice (Ray) Sanderlin of Worden MT, Patty (Jim) Krumm of Mobridge, one brother; Robert Jones of Mobridge, eight grandchildren: Tiana, Adriana, Connor Aberle, Gracin, Landri, Haven Thorstenson, Paige Krumm, Damon Griffith; one great grandchild Isabella Krumm, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Betty Jones and grandson Austin Aberle.
