Funeral services for Linda L. Iron Thunder, 57, of Bullhead will be at 11 AM, Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Rock Creek School Gym. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all night wake will start at 5 PM with services at 7 PM Friday at the gym. Family and friends will leave from the funeral home at 4 PM. Linda passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Linda Lou Iron Thunder was born September 13, 1962, to Germaine (Archambault) and Theodore Iron Thunder Sr. in Ft. Yates, ND. Linda grew up in Bullhead. She attended Bullhead Day School and was a cheerleader and in dancing club. After graduating from Bullhead Day School she attended Fort Yates High School. Linda received her G.E.D. in 1987 and attended classes at Sitting Bull College.

Linda started her family in 1980 with the birth of her son, Adrian Jr., then Derek was born two years later. After Derek came Margaret then Domonick, Landon and Sam. In 2004 she had her first grandchild and as of today she has 15 grandchildren. Linda also has many adopted children and grandchildren.

Linda was employed at Rock Creek District as a secretary. She then went to work at the Rock Creek Grant School as a para-special ed until the time of her passing. Linda was a member of the Post 82 American Legion Auxiliary. Linda also volunteered with many organizations in Bullhead.

Linda is survived by five children, 15 grandchildren, siblings, Wilma and Vince Tiger of McLaughlin, Antoinette and Herbert Goodlow of Lower Brule, Zetah and David Red Bear of Bullhead, Kathy and Gene Morrison of Bullhead, Johnelle and Elliott Jacobson of Bismarck, Ted Iron Thunder of Bullhead, Veronica Iron Thunder of McIntosh, Don and Jolene Yellow of Rosebud, and Bertrand Carpenter of Lower Brule, Stepsisters, June Hoisington and Jennifer Eagle, Hunka brothers, Very Reverend Anthony Grossenburg and Chris Reed, Hunka sons, Stephen and Mindi Keatts of Roanoke, VA, and Russell Thigh of Lower Brule and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in by her parents, Germaine Eagle and Theodore Iron Thunder Sr., son, Domonick Archambault, Hunka son, Curt Middletent, sisters, Betty Harris buried in Bunky, LA, Lorraine Iron Thunder, brothers, Myron and Tim Iron Thunder, Hunka brother, Ron Yellow, nieces, Maria Yellow Earrings, Germaine Kaseman and Eddy Kaseman Jr., step brothers, Cletus Eagle and Fenton Little Dog, and a few grandchildren.
