Funeral services for Leslie Terrill Iron Cloud, 47, of Wakpala will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, Wakpala. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 5 PM Monday with a prayer service at 7 PM at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Terrill passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, in Mobridge.

Leslie Terrill Iron Cloud was born on November 22, 1973 in Mobridge to Conrad Iron Cloud and Roletta Afraid of Lightning. When Leslie was three years old he came to live with his grandparents, Vernon and Theo Iron Cloud out to Snake Creek.

He attended school in Wakpala, later receiving his GED. As a young boy his Lala Vern taught him how to work with horses. Later on he helped his Lala break a few horses. These were moments he cherished. Leslie stayed near his grandparents and did ranch work for area ranchers. He loved to hunt and fish with his uncles and cousins. Leslie did not have an easy life. He learned many things the hard way. Despite all of the hard times, Terrill had a good heart and was a hard worker.

Leslie began his journey to the Spirit World on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

Survived by two sons, Kendal Iron Cloud, Leaven Worth, KS, and Johnathon Iron Cloud, Bismarck, ND, five sisters, Flora Eagle Chasing of Bismarck, Connie Comeau, McLaughlin, Lori Brave, Sioux Falls, Memory Rodriguez, Wisconsin, Michelle Thomas, Rapid City, one brother Cody Thomas, Flandreau, grandfather, Vernon Iron Cloud, Grandmothers, Virginia Dolly Weasel Boy, Sharon Goodhouse, Marlys Swimmer, aunties, Vernetta Logg, Verna Gone, Verlinda Iron Cloud, Sharon Nelson, Myra Bendickson, Brenda Bone Club, Monica Bone Club, Serena Buffalo, Vernell Buffalo, uncles, Jasper Iron Cloud, AJ Goodhouse, Delane Buffalo, Ben Bone Club.

Preceded in death by his parents Conrad Iron Cloud and Roletta (Afraid of Lightning) Pretty Weasel, paternal grandmother, Theo Iron Cloud, paternal great grandfather, Edward Goodhouse, maternal grandmother, Mary Good Eagle, maternal grandfather Roy Circle Bear, maternal great grandmother, Agatha Holy Bull, sister, Angie Iron Cloud, brother, Mark Eagle Chasing, uncles, Theron Iron Cloud, Arnold Iron Cloud, Cecil Buffalo, aunties, Bernadine Phillips and Sandra DuBray, cousins, Deidre Iron Cloud, Wako Buffalo and Brittany Buffalo.
