Funeral services for Lenora Labrensz, 100, of Mandan, formerly of McLaughlin will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Kesling Funeral Home Chapel in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery in McLaughlin under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Lenora passed away, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Lenora Labrensz was born January 6, 1924, in    rural Streeter, North Dakota to John & Lyndia (Dockter) Veil. She grew up and attended country school and lived on the family farm.

On November 17, 1948, Lenora married Leonhard Labrensz in Gackle, North Dakota and they made their home on the family farm. In 1969, they moved into McLaughlin where Leonhard was active in custom hay moving.

Lenora enjoyed walking and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by one son, Arlo (Penny) Labrensz of McLaughlin, three sisters, Bertha Labrensz, Violet Fischer, and Ilene Albin, two brothers, Henry Veil and Eugene Veil.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonhard Labrensz, two infant children, Lynn and Arlene Labrensz. Three sisters, Magdalena Klundt, Esther Unruh and Olga Fischer.
