Memorial service for Kurt Ortlieb, age 54 of Mobridge will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Family Worship Center in Mobridge, with Pastor Paul Hathaway officiating. Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery at 10:00 am June 8, 2016 with full military honors. Kurt passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Mobridge Regional Hospital. Arrangements are with Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD.

Kurt James Ortlieb went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Kurt was born August 1, 1961 in Green Bay, WI to Jerome and Altha Ortlieb. He served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
In 1994 Kurt married his true love, Patti Cartwright. Together they shared their love of the outdoors with their six children and his faithful companion, Buck. Kurt was a lifelong green Bay Packers fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley.
Kurt is survived by his wife, Patti, parents, Jerry and Altha, and siblings, Jim (Dee) Ortlieb and Judy (Dennis) Laurent. His children Jennine (Junior) Dolphus, Zack (Alicia) Sanftner, Crystal (Peter) Clark, Coty (Kyle) Johnson, Logan Sanftner, and Logan Ortlieb, as well as seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.
