Funeral services for Kokepesni Sudden Brave AKA Roland Brown Otter III will be Saturday at 1 PM at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Burial will be in the Good Shepherd Episcopal Cemetery rural Little Eagle. Wake services will be Friday at the Little Eagle Blue Gym beginning at 6:00 PM. Kokepesni entered the Spirit world on September 13, 2013 at Sanford's Children's Hospital. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Kokepesni Sudden Brave was born July 23, 1996 at Bismarck, ND. He attended school at Spearfish, Sioux Falls and Little Eagle Day School, graduating from McLaughlin High School on June 20, 2013.

He enjoyed basketball, drawing and painting, X-Box games, watching sports, guns and his favorite team was the Miami Heat. He was confirmed in the Mobridge Hospital by the Bishop of the Episcopal Church. He believed in the traditional ways.

He is survived by his grandmother Marliss Marshall and grandpa and caregiver Thurman Marshall, sisters; Ouinetta Brown Otter, Yukonna Henry, Trevonna Henry, Nuchi Henry, Elsie Henry, Kimi Skinner, brothers, Isaac Archambault, McKenzie Brown Otter, Chandler Brown Otter, Logan Brown Otter, favorite nephew Tyrese Sudden Brave, great-grandmother, Madgalen Long Feather, aunts, lee anf Rhea Archambault, Charlene Long Feather and family, Antionette Bringham, Genelle Martinez, Muriel Long Feather, uncles, Westley Long Feather, Linus Long Feather, Cictus Long Feather, Terry Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his brother Drake Brown Otter, Great-Great-grandmother Julia Black Fox, grandfather Roland Brown Otter, Sr. uncle Dominic Archambault, Eugene Leaf, Jr. cousin, Tyrall Sudden Brave.
