Mass of Christian Burial for Kirk Keepseagle, 43, of Ft. Yates, ND will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fort Yates. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the church in Fort Yates under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Kirk passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at IHS Hospital in Ft. Yates.

Kirk Joseph Keepseagle was born on March 11, 1976 to Joseph James Keepseagle and Eunice Rebecca (Defender) Keepseagle. Kirk grew up North of Fort Yates in the country home and went to school at Saint Bernard's Mission School. He graduated from Standing Rock Grant School in 1994 and attended Bismarck State College and University of North Dakota. Kirk was the owner of Kirk's Computer Services. He enjoyed photography, cars, golfing, cooking and yard work. He loved his family and Kirk has been a great caregiver for his mother, Eunice, nephew Zachery and niece Elizabeth and more recently to a stray cat he took in and named Daisy.

Kirk is survived by his mother Eunice Keepseagle and his siblings Carol (Pierre) Archambault, Cheryl Keepseagle, Joelle (Frank) Keepseagle, all of Fort Yates, Roy Keepseagle of Killdeer, ND and Dawn Lalicic of Fort Yates, ND.

Kirk was preceded in death by his father Joseph Keepseagle, Jr., brother James Keepseagle, brother-in-law Julian Lalicic, grandparents Benjamin (Cecelia) Defender and Joseph (Elizabeth) Keepseagle.

Kirk had many family and friends that will miss him dearly.
