Funeral services for Kim Matott, 49, of rural Glenham, SD, will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015, at the Kesling Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Glenham Cemetery under the direction of the Kesling Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Kesling Funeral Chapel on Sunday. Kim passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at her home.

Kim was born on March 25, 1965, in Orange, CA, to Harold and Minnie (McCade) Yager. She married Thomas Matott in 1983 and their marriage produced six children that Kim nurtured and cared for the rest of her life.

She was known as a very loving woman who cherished attending family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking large meals for her family. She was such a loving and motherly type that she regularly took in many others as her own.

Kim also enjoyed the outdoors. She spent many afternoons and evenings tending to her garden and relaxing outdoors with her dogs while watching the birds and butterflies. She also enjoyed to camp and fish.

She was survived by her husband, Thomas Matott; her children, James, Tiffinie, Christafer, Mellanie, Harmonie, and Destinie; and her grandchildren, Sophie, Olivia, Liam, Aubrey, and Meadow.
