Funeral services for Kevin Iron Shield, 53, of Sioux Falls, will be at 1 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ft. Yates. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 7 PM Sunday at the church. Kevin passed away, Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Sioux Falls.

Kevin Anthony Iron Shield aka "Tony" was born in Denver, Colorado on January 22, 1970, to Robert J. Iron Shield and Pearl E. Iron Shield.

Kevin is survived by his siblings, Robert Iron Shield, Jr. of Denver Colorado, Andrea R. (Brad Sr.) Iron Shield, Melissa Irene Iron Shield and her son Christopher M. Iron Shield of Denver, Colorado, Amanda (Trevor) Trujillo and family of Denver, Colorado, Davida A. Trujillo and Family of Denver. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Iron Shield and Pearl E. Little Iron Shield, his brothers, Franklin James Little, Sr. and Richard Montoya Trujillo, Jr., his maternal grandparents, George D. Little and Emma Black Tongue and paternal grandparents, George Iron Shield and Irene Hairy Chin, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
