Kenneth Floyd Wolf
Feb 1st 1942-Feb 19th 2022
80 yrs old
Kenneth Floyd Wolf was born February 1st, 1942 in Java, SD to Ervin and Hilda (Keller) Wolf. He grew up in Java along with his five siblings. As a child, he enjoyed spending time with his grandparents and was especially close to his grandfather, Christian Wolf. From a very young age it was clear that he loved animals and that he was passionate about farming.
Kenny spent his entire childhood in the Java area and in 1956, he was confirmed at St Paul Lutheran Church in Java. He attended Java High School and graduated in 1961. After high school, he briefly relocated to Seattle, WA where he took a job with Boeing Aircraft. However, it wasn't long before his love for farming ultimately had him returning to the Java area. In 1971, he married Nancy (Tisdall) and had three children, Chad Kenneth, Heidi Christine and Andrea Dawn.
Throughout his life, Kenny enjoyed farming, playing cards, horses, and going to livestock auctions at the Mobridge Sale Barn. In recent years, he especially enjoyed drinking coffee with friends at the Berens, checking on the local turkeys, and making daily trips to the Mobridge Burger King. Anyone who knew Kenny, knew that he loved kids and kids loved him. He was known as a story-teller and always made time for his children, grandchildren, and all of the local kids around town. Whether he was teaching them to drive, hauling them around in the back of his pick-up, or teaching them about horses, he made even the simplest things more fun. He was lovingly referred to as "Grandpa Wolf" or "Uncle Kenny", and he will be greatly missed.
Kenny was survived by his three children, Chad K. Wolf (Ambreen), Heidi (Wolf) Diehl (Derek), Andrea (Wolf) Pankoff (Jack Jr), his nine grandchildren, Alexa (24), Daniel (19), Eliya (17), Jack III (16), David (15), Taylor (14), Olivia (13), Logan (10) and McKenzie (5); and his siblings Don (Joanne), Cindy (Chuck), Patty (Jim), and his youngest brother Nate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & Hilda, sister Joan (Wolf) Carroll.
Memorials can be sent to Andrea Pankoff, 41169 Round Hill Circle, Parker, CO, 80138.
